Your assignments are available from the Assignments page and can also appear on your Home dashboard. Each assignment shows the work your teacher has set, when it is due, and whether you have completed it.

1. Assignments Page

Open Assignments to view the work that has been assigned to you.

Each assignment shows key information such as:

  • Assignment title: The name of the assignment.
  • Subject: The subject the assignment belongs to.
  • Class: The class the assignment was set for.
  • Due date: The date the assignment should be completed by, or No date if no deadline has been set.
  • Status: Whether the assignment is To do, Completed, or Overdue.

Select an assignment to open its full details.

2. Assignment Details

When you open an assignment, you can view:

  • Title
  • Teacher instructions
  • Class and subject
  • Due date
  • Current assignment status
  • All course content included in the assignment

The assigned content may include a section, module, lesson, topic, or a combination of different course items.

3. Opening Assigned Content

Select an assigned course item to open it in the relevant course.

Depending on what your teacher assigned, Knowness takes you to the corresponding section, module, lesson, or topic.

If a specific topic has been assigned, Knowness opens the lesson directly at that topic in the Learning tab.

4. Assignments on Your Home Page

New assignments can also appear in the assignment summary on your Home dashboard.

This gives you a quick way to see work that needs your attention without opening the full Assignments page.

If an assignment has a due date, it also appears on your Home calendar.

5. Assignment Status

Your assignment will show one of the following statuses:

  • To do: You still have required work to complete.
  • Completed: All required content has been completed.
  • Overdue: The due date has passed and the assignment is still incomplete.

An assignment becomes overdue from the day after its due date.

Being overdue does not prevent you from completing the assignment. You can continue working on it until all required content has been completed.

For more information on how assignment completion is calculated, see 5.3 Completing an Assignment.
