The urinary system is the body system that is responsible for filtering the blood, regulating the body's water and electrolyte balance, and eliminating waste products from the body. It includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra.

The kidneys are bean-shaped organs that are located in the lower back and are responsible for filtering the blood, regulating the body's water and electrolyte balance, and producing urine.

The ureters are tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder.

The bladder is a muscular organ that stores urine until it is eliminated from the body.

The urethra is a tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside of the body.
