1.3.6 Fluvial Landforms
In this lesson, we will explore the characteristics and formation of various landforms resulting from erosion and deposition. Specifically, we will examine interlocking spurs, waterfalls and gorges, meanders and ox-bow lakes, and deposition-related features such as levées, flood plains, and estuaries. Additionally, we will analyse an example of a river valley in the UK to identify its major landforms of erosion and deposition.
