1.3.3 Coastal Landforms
In this lesson, we will explore how geological structure and rock types influence coastal forms. We will also examine the characteristics and formation of landforms resulting from erosion, such as headlands and bays, cliffs and wave-cut platforms, caves, arches, and stacks. Additionally, we will discuss the characteristics and formation of landforms resulting from deposition, including beaches, sand dunes, spits, and bars.
