Congratulations on reaching the final module of the Law Taster Course! We have prepared a checklist of tasks that you might want to complete to prepare yourself for undertaking a Law degree.
Make a list of universities that offer Law degrees I am interested in. Remember to consider the range of modules they offer.
Decide which A-levels I am interested in studying, and which ones I am predicted to do best in.
Ensure that I achieve, or am on track to achieve, the required GCSE grades for my chosen A-levels.

Find work experience or extracurricular activities that could strengthen my application and give me a sense of what the job includes.
Find solicitors, barristers, or legal professionals who may be willing to let me shadow them and reach out accordingly.
Consider whether I want to complete an EPQ on a Law-related topic and ensure I am capable and have enough time to complete this project.
A Law degree gives you many career choices and helps you grow intellectually. It allows you to learn about lots of different areas, like how the criminal justice system works or dealing with big business contracts. By studying Law, you develop skills like thinking critically, doing research, and communicating clearly; skills that are useful in many careers.
