    Module Review

In this module, we will introduce you to the principles of criminal law in the UK and how it is properly implemented in theory and practice.

We’ll introduce you to the basic concepts of criminal liability and the justice system in the UK. You’ll learn about the elements that make up a crime, the various types of offences, and how criminal liability is determined. We’ll also look into landmark cases that have shaped modern criminal law and explore the roles and responsibilities of key players in the criminal justice system, such as the police, prosecutors, and defence lawyers.

Criminal law is such a large and varied area that it can be subdivided into specialisms including white collar crime, terrorism, murder, and many more. We will only take a brief look at murder for the purposes of showing you how a crime is actually considered along with a practical review of the steps.
