This includes buildings, roads, bridges, water and sewage systems, and other infrastructure. It is one of the oldest engineering disciplines, dating back to ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans who built impressive structures such as the pyramids, aqueducts, and roads.

Northumbrian Water readies £15.8M of sewage treatment works upgrades

Northumbrian Water’s contractors are gearing up for over £15M of improvement works at various County Durham treatment facilities to protect water quality in the River Skerne.
