In this module, we'll scrutinize the nature of morality, its principles, and its application in various contexts. We begin with an Introduction to EthicsIn Philosophy, the theory and study of morality and how we should behave., establishing the framework for our exploration into moral judgment and action. Then, we delve into NormativeDeriving from a standard or norm. Ethics, investigating the ethical standards that guide our decisions and behaviors. We'll consider various theories that attempt to explain what makes actions morally right or wrong. Our journey will continue with Applied Ethics, where we'll examine how these theories interact with practical issues in fields such as medicine, business, and environmental policy. Finally, in Metaethics, we'll rise above specific ethical issues to reflect on the nature and origin of ethical concepts themselves.
